Are you looking for hl1110.exe? Google it. Or, go to filemirrors.com. Type hl1110.exe in the find box, and try the mirrors.

There are some legitimate reasons to still run the original HL, but all of them begin with the words LAN Party. For instance, a couple years ago I wrote this HL1 mod that only works under non-Steamed HL, which we'd almost always play at the small LANs I went to.
