Can I disable Victory Music.

Just got the game recently and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. The music at the end of every round is driving me crazy though.

Anyway to stop it from playing?

Extract the file from the GCF, put it in the correct folder structure in your game directory, edit it to be silent or whatever you want. (Replace it with a blank file of the same exact name, if you dont have audio editing tools)

I've tried both binding a key to mute the sounds and have also replaced the victory music files with 'soundless' .mp3 files.

The trouble with muting the game is that I also mute other players...setting up for next round and what not.


The soundless .mp3s only seem to work on certain servers(Pure Servers only maybe?)


Was hoping to find people who have figured out a solution, I've downloaded .mp3s that play the music at 10% of normal volume but have the same problems. No simple command or anything I can do in the .cfg to turn it off or make it very quiet?

mp3? I thought you could only use wav. Hmm.
