According to this, I can. Although, when I downloaded the demo, it didn't work at all. It simply froze whenever I attempted to play. So tell me, can I run it?

And which game are you talking about?

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to... your rig is better than mine is.

I see. But, for some reason, the demo won't work. On the menu screen alone it feels like I'm getting 20 FPS. Furthermore, whenever I attempt to play the demo the game just freezes and I must restart my computer.

I don't see how you can play a game with a little red X.
On a serious note, update your drivers?
What other recent games can you play?

Here are my specs:
CPU - AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual core Processor 4200+
CPU Speed - 2.21 GHz Performance rated at 6.30 GHz
System RAM - 895.3 MB
Operating system - Microsoft windows XP home edition
Video card - NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
DirectX version - 9.0c

As far as recent games go, BF1942 takes the cake. As you can see, I haven't been playing anything to demanding. Also, about updating drivers, I have no idea how to do that. I mean, I know to go to NVIDIA.com, but after that, I am completely lost.

there is no such processor that runs at 6.3ghz

Are you sure you're reading it right? It clearly says 2.21 GHz. Although, I may be reading it wrong. I'm not to good with computers.

EDIT: I just need one question answered: Can I run half-life 2. If so, could someone tell me why the demo didn't work at all? Also, about updating the driver, could someone tell me the exact information to put down in order to manually find my driver? Here is the link to the download page. Sorry about asking for so much, I'm just an idiot when it comes to computers.

EDIT 2: Okay, I may have gotten it now. I updated my 'NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430'. Although, when i run a scan on system requirements lab, it still says I should update my driver.

P.S - Sorry if anything I say doesn't make sense.

it says its rated at 6.3ghz.......which its not geez you ruined a funny

Your little list says 6.30ghz. Ehm.. but yeah, pretty much just go to the website that owns whatever video card you have, Nvidia, and look up your card under the drivers page. Simply download and install it like anything else and restart your system. If it says you already have the latest driver, oh noes.

P.S. Where did you get your system evaluated like that? I want to do that.
P.P.S. It's not a little red X anymore, maybe it was just my school's blocking thingie.

www.systemrequirementslab.com

It basically allows you to see if you meet the requirements for a game. Also, it does indeed say I have the latest version, so I'll assume all of that is taken care of. Furthermore, any possible reason why the demo wouldn't work? I really do want to get half-life 2, but I'm afraid it will act exactly like the demo.
