Can we kill the japenese ads?

Ok id like to have the japenese language on my computer but i dont i have ENGLISH!!! can we kill the ads? im tierd of being disturbed almost evrey time i load a new page with this language install popup from windows :afro:

EDIT: Oh, no they're not. They're showing up everywhere Munro but it seems to be random.

I uninstalled adblock once. it went wrong. Now i cant install/uninstall/edit my extentions at all. And i cba to swipe the whole firefox just for adblock get a few popups though (not on this site)

Firefox+adblock work great with the right blocklist. Download firefox-adblocklist.txt and use the Import Filters command in Adblock Preferences.

I don't use that particular block list (mine is a little older), but I don't see any ads here, or at planet half-life, or at most other sites. Is that unfair to the ad companies? I'm not losing any sleep over it. I'm enjoying the ability to block ads while we still have it.

EDIT: that blocklist is too long, and degrades performance noticeably. Just google "adblock list" to find others, or use mine: blocklist.txt

What browser are you using that asks you to install language packs? Or is it not the browser?
Personally, Japanese ads show up fine, and I have no problem as theyre just ads.

Uhh.. it asks me to install Japanese, so it might not be Chinese. Either way, just tell IE not to install any language packs ever. Not a big problem.

Most of them are Japanese. There are Japanese characters in there. If you click them they take you to websites which are obviously Japanese.
