Nothings really been shown and they haven't really officially canceled it because it was never really in production, I just want it.

It was confirmed in a recent interview in a Japanese gaming magazine that Sega are open to selling the Shenmue franchise to Sony, which could be good because I'm guessing Sony could if they wanted to try to contract some of the former members of what used to be Sega AM2, as well as maybe some of the people behind the Yakuza series.
