I went thru all the steps to add myself to my home network, and well it doesn't work. I keep getting this error telling me that my network is not accessible, that I might not have permission to access the network, for me to contact the network administrator, and that the network path has not been found. I just recently reformatted. I am running wireless..

Make sure the networking cables are plugged in all the way and into the right ports on the router and not an uplink port.

Have you installed the network drivers from the motherboard CD yet?

Go through Internet Explorer's Connection setup wizard. If you are trying to see other PC's shared folders/files then disable Window XP's firewall.

This is just fine and dandy. I think I have come to realize that I have a faulty HDD. In the past couple of days these problems arose. The BSOD kept showing up so I formatted and then it was fine, then I could not log on because of a Windws\System32\Config\System file that was corrupt so I was forced to reinstall. I couldn't even reinstall till today. I tried numerous times last night and my computer wouldn't even boot up past the POST screen, but when it did and it got into the setup in the XP Installation CD it would tell me that it detected no HDD was present... Then today I try, and there it is. It worked for a couple of hours then it gave me a Disk Boot Error, Insert System Disk then hit ENTER. I do so and it goes into the XP setup.. I hit enter to reformat once again, but it tells me that no HDD is present. I then try and restart and go into the setup, but it won't go past the POST screen..

So the faulty hard drive is why you can't access the network now....:p
That blows by the way :(
