Can't find map. / Gameinfo.txt

Hey guys, I just began to make a map and I need to test it, but when it doesn't compile my map. 2 errors i get

Gameinfo.txt not found in C:\Program.

Can't find map klr_lightsout


Help?

For the gameinfo.txt i just copied the one i could find -i think it was in Half Life 2/Hl2- and pasted it into all my other folders. That worked for me for some reason...Dont know about the other one, sorry.

Can you be a bit more specific please?

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\ACCOUNTNAME\half-life 2\hl2

Thats the directory i found the document you seek...can't really be more specific about the other part cos i just copied it to
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\ACCOUNTNAME\half-life 2\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2

AND
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\ACCOUNTNAME\sourcesdk\hl2
