Cant get past this level

Hey all i just got the game yesterday and im stuck on this one part of thise level i think im on point insertion any way i have a screenshot of there i am:

so can someone please tell me what to do here?

Swim down to the bottom and break open the grate so everything floats to the surface, then jump on top of it to get to the other side.

OR, you can shoot the boards from the ledge with the pistol, only takes one shot per board and is much faster then the long gurgly gaspy swim down, and you usually dont gets all the board broke in one dive.

ok i have done this bit now im stuck at another bit heres the pic:

and when i go around the corner and up some stairs a helicopter comes and i cant figure out how to kill it plze tell me thnx in advance.

You have to follow the pathway and run around avoiding the helicopter and killing everyone you see. The helicopter is basically like a constant threat as you progress through the next part of the mission - you can't kill it until you get the rocket launcher.

you can't kill it until you get the rocket launcher.

remember to type... sv_cheats 1 and then impulse 101. that sould help you beat the copter. though it will take you alot of rockets to bring it down.

If you dont want the cheats... you can always use the Machine Gun. it can damage the copter. :smoking:
