Can't Play Counter Strike 1.6 and Condition Zero Problems

I can only play counter strike: source.


I bought the half life 2 collectors edition box set. I downloaded and installed everythig right. I can play counter strike: source and the other games that came with it but not any of the other counter strikes.

When i go into valve and click on browse games it says that I purchased the half life 2 gold package.

Is this problem happening because i bought the box set? If so then why does it say that I purchased the half life 2 gold package?

You do not own gold. Because you bought the game retail, I believe you only get HL2 (and CSS and HLDM) and the stuff that came in the collector's edition box. Look on the packaging and it should say what games you get.

But why would steam say that I have the gold package?

Just checked, he should get the Valve Back Catalog too.
But you do have to download the Back Catalog. Did you do that?

no you dont get the back catalog with the box set. when you go to browse games it says you have already purchased hl2 to every package things
