Carella 0.9mm (NeoShock)

yes, but everyone knows that about 80/90% of all games developers are stupid. Most good ideas comes from very low end companys and mods, then big companies try take them and work them. They are only a little amount of very large companies that can ever keep that quality to there games even with the high budgets and thats games like hl2 rtcw the unreal series etc...

Most console gamers (they are a lot more than PC gamers) have this terrible addiction with crappy games, I was taken the piss out of at six form and everyone said I was sad for playing counter-strike and clanning for it. So I actually showed some people in six form the game and showed them how to play it. Now they don't say shit because about 10% of my six form now play cs, even my ICT teacher plays CS now. The whole point to this ickle story is that if you want a serious game they are normally on PC's mainly because they come across as been complex to console and games developers know straight away they are aiming for an older audiance. Console games always have to reflect on these childish methods just to make more money. Its so anoying some times.

Hes statement, "its just a game" is not meant to say that games are unimportant or somehow childish. Argueing about a fictional pistol being off balance for a fictional 100 years in the future setting makes just as much sense as arguing if a star destroyer could defeat the enterprise. Pointless conjecture.

Besides, perhaps the handle section is made of heavy metals, and the foward section of the gun is a composition of light metals and carbon nanotube composite. I'd also like to point out that with the nice backcurve of the handle, the weight should be nicely distributed along the palm.

It is usually the concept artist's job to take those things into effect. The modeler's job is to take a 2D idea and make a 3D interpretation of it. Though, sometimes they happen to be the same person.

I understand what you mean about all this, but the weight of a gun can never been known if the model is just made up. Whats the point in saying all this stuff about weight been distributed wrong when thats the whole point in the gun. I wanted to make a huge gun that would decimete something like a desert eagle. I wanted to make it big a slow and its kinda the whole point in the gun. Its like a shotgun pistol. Without it looking heavy it just would not work. I made this gun to fight against large objects and enemys and yes your thinking what the hell. But when you load your weapon if you change your amunition and load them into the barrel in a certain order these shells/ bullkets will combile, they will be about 3/10 (not yet decided about this) combinations that will be fitted for each enemy. It brings a tactic side to using a pistol rather than getting a rocket launcher and running out hoping you will kill this large object. I was thinking about making it a sniper sidearm but then I think snipers would be a bit more deadly than they already are.

Getting back to the modelling, is the gun 2k polies, or 2k triangles?
