That's the best poem I've ever read.

Regardless of the price, that car is in pretty good condition.

Actually the asking price is a little high. Not something I would purchase.

Of course it is, it's a ferrari, not a honda civic

Thing about cars like that, you will spend so much money maintaining it, that it will drive bankrupt for sure.

not if you have several millions of dollars.

The Doom 3 piracy was worse than I thought if Carmack has to sell his car!!! :p

Actually, the older ferrari's are actually cheaper to take care of, they don't have all those expensive things, like special oil(if I am not mistaken) to be put it.

Hang on a minute, are you posting in haiku?

youll have to work overtime at the streets if you want that car :p

I hate brown or cream interiors ... if it was Black or Black and Red interior then i'd buy it.

Crammack has no taste.

several points

1. the car has had some heavy engine work (*cough* custom twin turbo *cough*), and owned by a minor celeb along with the car having media coverage. that keeps the price higher than the average Testarossa.

2. Special oil? its called synthetic oil it probably runs Mobil 1, Royal purple or red line costs around $20-30 for 5-6 quarts.

3. This was John's play car (I beleive his second Ferrari) as he had the F50 and another 3-4 Ferraris At one time. I dont think this was an ordered car, and was what John bought off the lot from the local Ferrari dealer. If you have 60k for a custom Testarossa, then you Proabbly have 2k for custom leather

Looks ugly, I don't care how rare it is, I don't wanna put 60k into it and need to completely redo the whole sound system.

I think it's worth 60, 000 for sure...But I'd never buy it, even if I did have the money.

Well, I'm saying if I had 60, 000. If I were a multi-millionaire I might, what the hell right?

ahuh...like you could afford it anyway

Your attitude did.

Ok, if I had 60k I wouldn't want to buy the car and have to redo the whole sound system.

Also, anyone know how much money they made off D3?

I bet they've sold atleast a million.

£30 x 1'000'000 == Enough for a new car.

They made a buttload of money out of D3. It's a bestseller.

1.TT, wow....

2. I guess you've never heard about this in the Enzo and newer Lambo's, they have oil that you have to get from Lambo and is pretty damn expensive.

3. I would hope its his "play" car after investing so much much money it it. I think its an ordered car cause I've places like Dinan for BMW's that you send them your BMW and it comes back nice as hell. TT's aren't that expensive, if he spent 60 grand on them, he got ripped.

1)yea I expected some asian import to not be impressed by a custom TT setup. Yea if this was some off the shelf car and off the shelf TT kit built today then yea it wouldnt be that much. But when you start building custom turbos setups for cars with displacment over the size of a 2 liter you begin to run into problems(over pressurizing your system). And when your building it for a Ferrari you've got little to no extra space to add the TT especially when this isn't some off the shelf kit and was built in the mid to late 90s then yea its going to cost a bit more.

2. Actually I have and its European Standards Synthetic. Theres some minor diffences but nothing major. Its more of an approved oil type versus a special type of oil.

3. well at one time he had around 5, you used to see him driving around all the time. so that why he gave one away and decided to mod the the other. especially since he has the f40 (and/or f50). which werent built unless customer ordered while the testarossa could be built for a dealer order.

any kit that you buy off the shelf is going to be significantly less than a custom build. because the kit is going to make money from all the sales, while a one off TT setup is going to have to make the money from just that one sale.

that car never ran at it full potential needed a better driver ;)

Gimmie the damn car and a day, I'll take it to the track on the 2nd day, I'll show you what its made for. Drifting ;)
