Hey everyone, Just wondering who here has seen the new james bond movie, Casino Royale. I have seen it twice, and loved it. Anyone else?

I liked it quite a lot, it was much darker than the other Bonds and had a lot less "I've just killed a man, now to make a penis joke"

Seen it didn't really like not like the other Bond Films it has no gadgets or a really cool car but it does have really lame bond.

I can't decide whether or not it's the best Bond I've seen yet. I'm thinking it is though.

One of my favorite movies. I absolutely loved it. Took the cheesyness out of bond and replaced it with badass.

one of the best movies ive seen in a long time. i didnt think it was possible to replace pierce brosnan, but i was proven dead wrong.

Yeah, I thought Brosnan was sweet, but Daniel Craig - definitely the best Bond movie of recent years, way ahead of Goldeneye.

It was a decent action movie, but I like the gadget bonds better.

Kickass. Definitely among the best movies. It very boldly threw away the trend of more and more gadgets every movie and made it a serious movie with a gritty kickass Bond. Come on, invisible cars were getting a bit too much, Casino Royale felt more like an action movie than a sci-fi movie. Wasn't much in terms of spywork, Le Chiffre seemed to know who Bond was quite well, definitely a very solid movie however.

I thought it was horrible, heh. Incredibly contrived story and in trying to make bond's character more complex they ended up just making him look silly.

But then again, I've never been a big bond fan.

I rate it as my favorite Bond, but you have to consider that I'm not a hardcore Bond fan to begin with. All of a sudden you're given a Bond with some real depth to it as well as intrigue and great action so I loved it.

It's just a good, very solid action movie that I would recommend to just about anyone. Easy to enjoy.

I suspect it's only a matter of time before they cock it up with one-liners, silly gadgets, and make Bond back into the petri dish of a manslut he was before.

They'll be okay as long as Paul Haggis gets to rewrite all the scripts

I loved it the first time I saw it. The second one time wasn't as good. I think this is a kind of movie you only see once.

Loved it. Whislt I do so love the silly things in bond like giant lasers in volcanoes or the sky or something, with just as stupid gadgets, I did really enjoy the way it has gone now and I can only hope for more of the same as there's been plenty of cheesy/ridiculous Bond fims already out there from beforehand. (albiet deadly serious and incredibly good. though)
