Catalyst 3.7 released

MUCH better info than giving it the Nvidia style:

30% PERFORMANCE GAIN OVER PREVIOUS DRIVERS!*
*Only applies to the Geforce FX 5600 and Unreal Tournament 2003

:p

*note* I own a 9600 Pro *note*

Dawdler, Yes, it's better than that, but then look at the list of resolved game issuses. There shouldn't have been that many to start with :)

drat, I hate how I can't edit nemore...

my 3Dmark03 score improved from 3002 (defualt clock) to 3044 (default clock)

Catalyst Maker posted this in the Rage3D forums...
ps. CAT 3.8 the biggest most innovative driver posting ever!

I'm not believing him until I actually see it.

3.7's gave a sweet boost in fps in call of duty demo.

Yup, quite a few people at the Rage3D forums are reporting a performance boost in the CoD demo.

I'm getting 50 to 80 FPS depending on the situation, my settings are maxed out and running at 1600x1200, AA disabled with 8x AF.

I LOST FPS in UT2k3, not that it matters much. in botmatch benchmark I lost a whole !!! 1fps. LOL

(Meaning at 1280x960 at 4x AA and 16X AF I get a mere 61.9 FPS...LOL)

I noticed something odd in RTCW:ET using 3.7... When loading a level, the screen blacks out. It comes back, so it isnt a problem, but still it didnt do that with 3.6...

Sidenote: I could be cause I enabled 2xFSAA too, I wasnt using it before as I always forgot it.
