My friend uses an X300 PCI-E card, and is noticing a large FPS boost in BF2 after this driver update. I only had my X850XTPE in my other machine for a few hours before 5.8 was released, so I haven't noticed a difference yet.

I tried to update and it wouldnt load the control center and kept saying I had two uninstalled hardware thingies even though both video drivers were installed so I had to revert back to the microsoft drivers. Stupid x64.
