I'm currently taking CCNA and am going to be taking CCNP next fall term. I was wondering if anyone has/is taking this course and what you think/thought of it? Have you benefited from it after you finished?

Cisco do some of the best IT courses around, much better than Microsoft as far as actually meaning something.
Plus, playing with cabling is fun! :)

I've nearly finished the CCNA - and have enjoyed it so far.

I'd have prefered more hand on experience with harware and router configuring. tbh the tests have proved little challenge, and while i've leanred alot I still have very little practical experience. This is the only gripe - on the whole it is an excellent course and well worth the time spent.

As bliink said, Cisco do great courses which are respected all over the world. If you can do well in your CCNP, and get a job at the end of it, you'll be laughing :) (do the 3rd course and become a consultant and you'll be so rich you won't not what to do with the cash \o/)

From what I've heard, the CCNA dosent mean a whole lot to businesses now-a-days. However, a CCNP is good.
