CD-key problems

well i guess its a bit of a mix up, you see I used to play TFC all the time, then i got bored of the continued massacre, and i forgot my account, and now when i try to make a new one and enter my CD-key it doesnt work....i just want to know if you can get my CD-key to work again, i'll give you the CD-key if you need it if it helps

Are you talking about steam?

Because I think you'd be better off going to the steam forums and posting it, or using the contact button or something.

Welcome to the forums

There's not much we can do about it here unfortunately. It seems as though someone else has used your CD key so it means you can't register it anymore.

I'd recommend either contacting Valve like Erestheux says, or probably a better idea - contact Sierra Studios who may be able to send you a new CD key

trying, but i go to the support, and when i switch the "Contacting us regarding:" to either customer service or technical support, it keeps saying page not found, is it just my computer or is anyone else having this problem

You created an account, then registered you CD-Key on it, then forgot the account right?

Right. Then logout of Steam (settings->login as different user), click "Retrieve a lost account...", "Don't know the account name", "I remember the CD-Key I used".

Whack in your CD-Key, it should send an e-mail to the contact e-mail address you had on the account you originally registered with.
