CD Key

Im trying to reinstall hl so I can finish it before hl2. I dont have my cd key anymore, so I was wondering if there is a way to find it in the registry or somthing from when I had it installed a while back. I also have steam if you know a way to find it on that. (I dont want to play it on steam because I was planning to put in a code to get to the level I was on before)

Just play HL through Steam, if you can get on Steam.

Yea, I can play on steam, but I wanted to put in a password to get to level that I was on before I uninstalled. I dont know how to do that on steam.

um... well the maps are number c0a0 with the 0's being replaced by numbers. Some also have letters after the 2nd number. You can mess around with those, just type in "map c2a1" or whatever, and then use cheats to get your guns. or just play thru it all again, its fun, so what the heck... anyway now im just ramblin, gonna go

thanks, I never knew you could do that with steam. I was going to do the same thing with the regular version.
