CGW game of the year awards

For those who read CGW, you've probably seen this.

Half-life 2 didn't do too hot in CGW. The only rewards it recieved was "best music" and "best NPC (dog)." It was nominated for Game of the Year and Single Player FPS of the Year, but won neither.

Also, Steam won the presigious "Coaster of the Year" for it's "migraine delivering" capabilities.

I just got the issue in the mail, and Id have to say im dissapointed in them, its almost as if they delibrateley do it to be diffrent from all the other mags. They knocked a half star off of it for the steam problems in thier earlier review, criticised it for being "linear", etc. I mean, come on, criticise the game, not the installation process. I say CGW gets party pooper of the year award.

I was a little disappointed until I read Painkiller.

I actually enjoyed painkiller more than farcry, however i wouldn't put it in the same league as Half Life 2.
