Changing blood

A strange topic, but nevertheless.

After trying out a few skins, and downloading a pack, with lots of skins and sounds/sprites and so on that update, i "installed" one of those self-installing packs.

Only to be dissapointed a while later. I attempted to remove the most of it. Worked, at least most of it. Except the blood. The blood is totally different, and is wither a weird sput on the wall or a huge splotch, as if a child got drunk and rolled around on a wall.

But my question is, how to remove the new blood (decals/wall imprints, even blood when hit)?

Edit: Same thing goes for bulletholes, I cant seem to get those suckers away....

any file to be removed? i have no clue.

the original blood will probably be in decals.wad. Maybe its overwritten it or there's a file named the same thats overiding the original being used?

So, if i removed the decals.wad, it would be restored?
Seeing to it that replacing skins and such just requires a copy to the folder.

I shall try.

decal.wad/pldecal.wad?

pldecal is the spraypaint, if im not wrong...?

correct...

unless you have a personal spray that you like to use though, it is safe to remove both files as they will both regenerate themselves.

Yeah, moved away decal.wad, and the blood seems to be normal.
Though, I think the real decal.wad file is already integrated in steam, so to speak.
Making it skinnable, through having there.

Since so far, I dont think I've seen decal.wad regenerate. Then again, im not at that computer.
