here's the hi res version

He's a character in an upcoming mod that won't be announced for a long time - probably on the Unreal Engine 3.

By all means, not done, much work to go on each part.

Love the drawing, hate the filters. Also, double check your proportions, he's awefully thick. Nice shading otherwise.

Well, I've only got one filter, and that's the cloth texture I made by scanning some cloth. If you look closely, I don't think it repeats. so that part I think I'm gonna leave, unless everyone starts to agree that it looks dumb. Also, I'm going to put some armor over it.

Also, he's a face smasher, so I wanted to make him pretty big, but i'll try sizing some of his dimensions down a little.

I thought the arms were plastic wrapped :D.

Don't get me wrong, it's absolutely great and i love the coloring.

About his size, the trick to making someone really huge wihtout having it look wierd is too thin down is waist, a lot... make him more broad shouldered than broad everything. And the fact that his arms are much thinner than his chest is also wierd.

But since you've gon so far with it, I'd just finish it like that if I were you, and keep the rest in mind for another tiem.

That particular figure looks a bit odd because his nipples are placed a little too high. If you want to make a figure that looks heroic or just larger-than-life, draw them 9 heads tall and about 2 2/3 heads wide at the shoulders. Like the figure seen on the right here.

Heroic proportions

Yeah I was stuck on the traditional cannon of proportions. I'm going to lower his arms a little bit and smooth them out a tad so they look more natural, for a first step. Update later on.

He's a barbarian knight or so, he's got to be thick, dudes! ;)
