nice the folds is his skirt or whatever are not believable.
nice piece of concept i think you should get a smaller lead like .3mm or .5mm and go hit those details to make it pop
also consider putting this into photoshop and making a background to go along with like; hes at a battlefield and there's dead warrior laying all around but hell have to be scathed

what concept is this for?

really nice, and as nofx said the skirt doesnt look good at all, alos i think the head is ugly and unbelievable too. Maybe a knights helmet on him would make him look better / cooler :>

He looks like the guy from system of a down hehe
and shippi is correct the face seems a tad tad to long maybe because of the beard or w/e

Yeah I am not too keen on the folds either. This was the second attempt and I should of stayed with the first. But these concepts are not definitive but just a general idea. The faces are pretty much place holders.

feet are a little too short.

The human foot is normally about as long as the distance between your wrist and elbow.

I find the proportion and positioning of the legs rather odd, and the folds have already been picked apart but I like the rendering and shading - especially his face. He looks like the last person you'd expect to be wearing a knight's costume.

I have just the fix for you :D

Should help you somewhat
dont feel bad or feel that you have a weak concept because the critiques you have a pretty awesome concept art
you got the over all jest and whoevers modeling, animating tis it will suffice.

Pretty decent overall. I think you need to push your shadows a little more, they aren't dark enough, so it takes depth away from the piece. The character's legs also seem too short for the rest of his body. Study anatomy.

If I would of spent a little more time on this (I did it at work on breaks) I imagine a few of the weak points would not have been.

With the folds of the kilt I think it's that one smaller fold that sits above the knee that funks it up. Oh well.

He looks like a Brotherhood of Steel member, straight out of Fallout :D
