Sim City 2000 was freakin awesome. I was so mad when I realized that Sim City 3000 didn't have disaster reports, nor could you click on helicopters rapidly and make them crash!

I would beg my sister to let me borrow this game, because her friend owned it. Oh I used to actually be good at the game when I was a child.

The little advisor dude is the most memorable thing for me.

I just installed Sim City 4 earlier today, but it's too much of a system hog when you're zoomed out. I've just been playing Sim City 1 on that site and it's a little bit too easy and you can't speed it up as far as I can see

Yeah, did they dumb it down for the SNES? I could get NOWHERE on 2000, but I wasn't so bad at SNES Sim City. I liked getting the presents as well, like the zoo and the mayor's residence ^_^

Though I've never played the original, I have some very good memories of simcity 2000. Good times getting frustrated with my city and burning it to the ground. Or forgetting to replace my nuclear power plants after 50 years and having them explode and contaminate the place. I've played 3000 and 4, but they're just too complex and difficult.
