I finally beat the game, and despite enjoying the hell out of it, I was disappointed to note a greater than average number of graphical anomalies throughout the game, and I'm curious to know whether many other people noticed them as well.
The first glitch struck when I entered Eli Vance's lab. There were missing textures everywhere in the upper levels of the lab which appeared black, but the wireframes of the floor were seen below them. This was also seen a few times later in the game, but most other instances were quite rare in comparison to Eli's lab.
Another frustrating glitch came about from the strange bumpmapping placed on several "rubble-esque" textures to give them a checkerboard appearance. Some textures are not as noticeable without shining a light directly on them, but several were obvious simply with the standard level lighting. This was witnessed during the latter part of the game while tromping around City 17.
Has anyone else noticed these? They happen often enough that I can't help but think someone else has experienced them. And for the sake of broadening the topic, have you noticed any other strange graphical glitch that you feel is prevalent enough that it should be patched?
My system specs:
Athlon XP 3000+, 1GB DDR RAM, Radeon 9800 Pro with 4.11 drivers.
