Seriously, I need help finding ideas on what to ask for christmas. I bet other people here are having the same problems, so my idea is to start a big list of good ideas. Ofcourse the budget differs for everyone, so if you name a thing or product, also name the price.

I need ideas for sub $50 presents. Only thing I thought of so far is a good shaving razor. $20 - $50

Condoms!

I usually go for the obvious stuff - books, DVDs... vouchers for non-immediate family. Mostly I just try and to keep an eye and an ear out for things they want/need. It pays to pay attention sometimes. :)

I heard good things about this on a HL2 fansite. Sweet deal too.

OP this dilema is always easy. Ask for money. Simple, easy, and you can do what you want with it.

But then you always get taken for a mug and they give you a small percentage of the value of what you originally had in mind.

Crafty bastards.

**** you, I already have AIDS. This had better not be one of Jesus's schemes to steal my crack-cocaine by jumping out of a tiny box and running away while singing the theme song to "The Banana Splits Show".

Beaten to "Cut a hole in a box."

Get giftcards. If you know someone's interests, get them giftcards for places they're likely to shop at. It's just like giving money, but it doesn't carry the unspoken connotation, "I have no f'ing idea what you want/I was really late with my shopping/I don't care about you enough, so here's some cash. Merry Christmas, you unimportant lump."

If you're going to buy someone clothes, make sure it's:

A. Their size
B. A brand or article of clothing they'll really like
C. Not from Ross, the thrift store, Wal-Mart, or anywhere else you shouldn't buy clothes from

I hate getting cheap clothes for Christmas. If someone tells me they got something for me from the thrift store, I'm thinking, "I will dispose of this once this person has left the vicinity." If I get something from Ross, I'm thinking, "Look it over because there's something wrong with it, otherwise it wouldn't have been from Ross."

Buy GOOD clothes for Christmas.

What are you guys getting me?

I have no money and can't think of anything to get most of my family. Ho hum.

That's a nice thought, but I'm allergic.

I'm getting you a drilldo.

stiggy and I go way back but I prefer a woman's touch ..less clammy and gnarly
