Anyone else absolutely giddy about this game? The 1st game was the masterpiece no one saw coming, since the movie was average, and now a next gen sequel!

Butcher Bay was a good game. Gameplay was fun, story was interesting enough, yet despite the general 'solid' feel of the game I don't think there was much going on beyond that. The dialogue almost makes me want to punch small animals. So forced. So poorly written.

I see where you're coming from, but i found the dialogue and voice acting to be great! Vin Diesel's acting was decent and his voice was absolutely menacing, and I loved that they had Cole Hauser come back as Johns. Nothing really stood out as bad voice acting to me.

Dialogue was great, very natural.

I'm mostly interested in the game material that picks up after the end of the game since this isn't really a sequel.

Sequel? It's gonna be a remake of Butcher Bay, but with 40% more single-player content, which will be set on a scavenger ship named Dark Athena.

C'mon, it wasn't THAT bad. The game world and setting was convincing enough, and there were some priceless quotes...

Eg. "I have to suggest that, for the time being, you leave him alive, as I still require him."

QFT. I honestly don't see why Samon thinks the dialogue is bad. For horribly bad voice acting, go with Far Cry.

True. Ok, probably not 'bad', game wise it's 'good', but not in any way natural and, to an extent, fairly forced (not by the voice actors or anything, just the way they have done it).

Is the first Riddick game 360 compatible? I saw it at Wal-Mart for $10, and I looked on the XBOX - XBOX 360 compatibility list, and it wasn't there.. I really want to play it..

The first one was ****ing excellent.

I loved the way blood would fly out of people's mouths and noses when you hit them.

Never played the original but heard it was better than Doom 3 by those that could make the comparison. This may be a good one.

The original was AMAZING.
Hell, I've played it more then once

Wait, is this a sequel or just an "extended version"?

yea, that and beating/shiving peoples faces into a bloody mess :D
