He was OK with the facts before they were released in something commercial. He said before in a statement on his website that he had even laughed at them, and acknowledged it was all in good fun as "Boys will be boys."
This has nothing to do with the content of the facts, it's simply that he wants money. Part of me does agree though that if something uses your name, you should be entitled to some profit.
