Well, maybe city 13 be a fake, but the "Nova Prospekt" is not (it's written on the entrance to that check-up cage in the e32k4 vids).

Listen dude, which game doesn't have a big boss battle anyway? huh?

We know there might be a scene like that, but that's just on some rough board, who knows it might stay or not. In any case, we haven't seen it so it spoils nothing. Infact I'm intrigued to see how valve pulls of a romantic scene, hopefully they don't do wrong.

Anywho, the Gordon/Alyx love scene is in the cut section. As in 'cut from the game'.

I'm pretty sure that's a joke though, since they also 'cut' the AWP and Eli's leg.

I was under the impression they were poking fun at a magazine misprint of 'City 17'. They accidentally typed 'City 13', which, to the best of my knowledge, caused weeks of speculating on these forums.

Like I said, for these valve guys to remember this for us, that's just awesome!
