City of God

Yep, that's definitely up there. City of God is now officially one of my favourite films of all time. I'm extremely ashamed to admit that I've only recently just watched it. The editing and pace of this film is second to none; I applause Fernando Meirelles for this absolute masterpiece.

It's an excellent movie, I first saw it less than a year ago and instantly realized I was missing true greatness.

I also saw it around a year ago, and it is great. Parts of Slumdog Millionaire reminded me of it.

Slumdog was kind of a less-good (yet that means still excellent) version of City of God.

Has anybody seen City of Men, the sequel? Me neither.

I watched a little bit of City of Men years ago. Disturbing as hell, but still excellent.

Was above average, haven't seen the City of Men TV show though.
