">here for Thermal[/url]. Both were mixed by DJ Eau.

It says the correct web address on the pictures, www.cotamod.com

adios

Edit: Why are they making music tracks for a strictly multiplayer game? It is a strange, strange world.

Interesting concept, but I'm sick of every mod only releasing weapon models first.

yer same ^^^
And i dont like the odds of the guys using the battle axes compared to that of the machine gun!? :p

Not to be mean but those look like something you'd see in HL and the pistol looks like crap.

I've been around with this mod since the first day they started there site, and I know they have had some tough times, so thats why the models are not that good as they had to redo all there weapon models.

Texturing and model definition is poor, will need some work there.
Not exactly sure about weapon balancing, but oh well.

you need to understand the concept. its clash of the ages, but ages don't fight each other. it will be axe versus axe, machine gun versus machine gun.

i didn't like the pistol at first either, but they showed me the real gun, and its just as ugly as the render. its an ugly gun, bottom line.

lovve the axes :D

Awesome, The VP70 is the pistol used in Aliens!, Its used by one of the guys without a name, hes black.

Anyhoo looking good.

Agreed. Just because they put flashy backgrounds in there, it doesn't mean the models look any better.

Clash of the Ages is a revolutionary modification for the Half-Life 2 platform introducing a brand new approach to real-time strategies. The game centers in on five different ages, each respectively distinct from one another, based loosely on the history of the world dating as far back as the Medieval Age up to the Modern Age. Embarking on a journey through the eyes of one of the three different factions, among them the Grecko-Romans, the East Asians, and the Euro-Americans, the player faces challenges such as gathering resources, accomplishing missions, and conquering the enemy in order to evolve to the next age, bringing technology and considerable advancements, helping each faction into becoming victorious.

But Clash of the Ages is not about managing resources or sending dozens of troops fight enemies across usual RTS maps, it puts the player in the skin of the soldiers on the field, the engineers building the constructions, and the archers attacking their adversaries. This new concept makes game play far more interesting where tactics and military planning become important facets of the game, and where teamwork becomes an even more valued aspect of triumph.

Clash of the Ages offers a wide spectrum of new ideas, and a team with loads of talent. What defines CotA from any other modifications, is its unique perspective of bringing history to life, and its overall dedication at maintaining both quality and enjoyment to this exhilarating new concept.

Yesh, it is an RTS.

The mod contains five ages, each of which will contain its own set of weapons. As the team advances through the historically-accurate ages (Medival, Modern etc.) they have access to that Age's weapons.

There is no top-down commander, so it is not a conventional RTS.
