I know most of you hate em, but it sounds like they really have changed their sound with this, and a few of the die-hard fans are not happy.

I'm sure I've heard that Shock of the Lightning single somewhere recently... It's decent - 6/10

Bag It Up sounds pretty cool. I hope it's the next single. 8/10 (from the 40 sec clip)

The rest sound pretty average.

Just shows how much our opinion differs, The Shock Of The Lightning is an amazing tune, and is a 9/10 for me.

Not half bad the album. I prefer them live though. Too bad that there's no proper European tour. Outside the UK they're only scheduled to play in Paris and Cologne. Srsly wtf?

I just listened to shock of lightning and for some reason it sounds like a foo fighter song to me.

Then Bag Me Up sounds okay, but nothing really special.

I think I used to like Oasis when I was younger, all their singles from the 90s I thought were great. However lately I began to listen to more of their songs and I got so incredibly bored, they sounded all the same to me. So pretty much I dont care for them anymore.

Nope, liked it.

Flying in at number 1 in the UK, summat like 90K sold in it's first day of release, the majority of the reviews have been good too, loking like a good release for Oasis.

It's always ridiculous to compare any of Oasis's later albums, current or in the future, to their original album, as they will never top it, not just to the fact that they can't write those kind of songs anymore but also due to the mood of the country at the time, 94-95 was a very special time for British music and some of that was what made the first two albums so great.

The latest album however, is their best since the cocaine fueled "Be Here Now", maybe even better than it to be honest, and is a direction I am very comfortable as an Oasis fan seeing the band take in the future.
