Ugh, agreed. That Overwhelmed vid or whatever it was called was utter garbage. Hated it. Hopefully there is precious little of such awfulness in the game.

Yeah, I think I changed my mind actually. The only enemy that actually looks cool is the dude wrapped up like Marylin Manson getting his head blown off. I thought that blood was some kind of wicked dark flow emanating from his head. I figured it had physics or some kind of mutation effect. If it's just blood then forget it.


There are way too many games coming out right now. That last screenshot makes me physically sick. It's like some kind of guy who is dying from morbid obesity who has never seen sunlight - EVER, with a giant baby head. It looks like he is melting like lard near a fire.


If it's got nothing new to bring to the table, then it's just another painkiller. Massive suck-fest.

The last pic is actually my favourite.

I never played Undying, so I really don't know what to expect from this. I am a fan of Clive Barker, but more of stuff like Weaveworld (which is an awesome book) and The Great and Secret Show than of stuff where he overdoses on grotesquerie, where it sometimes seems like he's trying a bit too hard.

Undying was scary as hell for its time.
I still remember the bloody hallway with curtains flying all over the place, then some silhouette appearing in the end of the hallway but you can`t really make them out cause of the lighting and the curtains blowing in the wind. ****ing brilliant.

This game should kick ass.

x2, better than one of the dozens of counterstrike clones that come out every year, I didnt play Doom3 because of the storyline or revolutionary gameplay, i wanted to blow shit up with shiny new graphics, Id never promised anything more than that :thumbs:
