I'm not, i just wish the rocket fails and life goes on. Also kudos to Obama for trying to open talks with Russia on lowering the amount of nukes we have. I know each year we have less and less but we need to have less than 5,000 because that is way too many to keep track of. Less is much better in todays world, and controlling them and not losing them is a must

theoretically shooting asteroids down with nukes would be a horrible idea. that would shower the earth with millions of asteroids and just about everyone on earth would both have radioactive material and a massive flaming hole everywhere

Its times like this I feel like I'm the last ****ing westerner left that can ****ing differentiate between genuine threats and pointless immoral conflict, and generally not bring in one fashion statement opinion from one issue into another because I'm such a hollow human being that I cant take in the event at hand, and create a relevant opinion from that for myself.

you're obviously not the person you claim to be because North korea is a threat to NO ONE except it's own people. Japan even in it's weakened state would steamroll over NK with western help. countries would be tripping over themselves to retaliate against NK if anything ever happened

So everyone just imaginged the NK saying that they'd shoot down any US spy plane in their airspace, and then actually moving a squadron of MiGs near to their launch site, then saying that if Japan shot down their missile they'd retaliate on whatever shot down their missile before actually attacking Japan...

Wikipedia says this: This article contains information regarding a satellite that is scheduled to launch in the next 10 hours.

But I doubt it.

Am i the only person who find it fair. North Korea should have the right to shoot down a US spy plane in it's territory. The US spy plane has no right violating NK airspace and should be shot down. Just like a NK spy plane would be shot down if it was in US airspace. Also the Japanese have no right shooting down the missile unless it's a direct and immediate threat to them. If it is a communication satellite like they say it is then Japan should not attack it.

The only reason it's armed forces haven't been swatted aside and the country unified under a strong democratic government based in Seoul is because of the even smallest threat of dragging China into it.


Though the way things are I wonder if South Korea would even want the responsibility.

You have to remember, that North Korea has a shitload of non electronics based artillery... pointed directly at Seoul. And there's no logical reason to think their artillery is decrepit enough to just not cause any harm.
 
DPRK has a huge army and we know squat about the country. A war would suck even if we did nothing but chuck a billion dollars' worth of ordinance at them from Okinawa.
