(Apologies in advance if this has been discussed already.)
I was playing RTCW at a friend's house (he doesn't have HL2) and after I played the beach level which is basically d-day but online, I was thinking, why doesn't someone make a mod/level for HL2 MP where it's resistance v. combine.
With the combine holding the coast beach head (the towers with the machine guns and some tanks and what you will) and the rebels have to take an objective behind them, but get antlions on their side (with a fixed respawn rate of x every y seconds.) The resistance could have one bugbait item for the team so only one person can control all the antlions.
It would be the combine's superiour positioning against the resistence's sheer force/tactics. A sort of side switching system could be implemented with a objective completion time limit of 5 or 10 min or something.
