Can't say I'm all that bothered, actually. CoD2's provided nothing but a resounding 'meh' for me so far. I mean, come on, no ragdolls or anything? Grenade deaths literally still have one animation.

Well personal taste I suppose, I'm just saying their night maps don't look good at all (imo). And I don't understand why either, they have the skill apparently, this shot is beautiful for example:

lol Axyon, dont let DoD Source fanboyisim make you miss out on a demo, thats ridiculous. DoD source although very good looking, with all the bells and whistles of source physic's, Is really,... when you get down to it.. another run of the mill multiplayer WW2 shooter, just like CoD 2 will be, except with different types of bells and whistle's.

There isn't a single hi-res texture there. The game's just been churned out quickly to release on the X360's launch.

the night shots arent from the new COD2, they are i think from the console version. also called call of duty 2, but i think it has the subtitle, big red one, or something like that

totally diffrent game then the "next gen" one

I have to admit that DoD and Cod2 demo in the same day is more than I can handle.

I just played both and I have to say that I think I like CoD2 a bit better. It plays better and looks better. The HDR in DOD:S is a DRAG for your FPS, but with it off its much better. I am too used to Counter-Strike's gameplay and I suppose I just have to get used to DoD:S's gameplay now. They are both really fun, though, and basically free(depending), so enjoy!
