Call of Duty: United oFFensive came out today! Wh00t, all CoD fans must pick it up, if not for the multiplayer, then for the awesome single player experience. Wh00t!

No I didnt buy it yet, soon though, and yes Id imagine youd need the first game as its an expansion pack.

Wasn't cod based on a upgraded Quake 3 engine?
You gotta admit, the Quake 3 engine was used in alot of games.. ID must of made some sweet money off of that.

From the review it sounds like Gray Matter messed up Infinity Wards formula. In either case I'll be buying this just to get my own opinion.

Original CoD kicked 8 different flavours of ass all at once. That's really something hard to do. I think that the expansion will be good, but how good, I dunno.

I don't see how CoD was any different from MoH other than the Iron Sights deal.

Call of Duty always crashes on my system. I was never able to finish.

I won't be buying the expansion since I probably won't be able to beat it.

Because it had you fighting with a squad in situations that were about five thousand times more intense. An amazing soundtrack and good looking presentation didn't hurt matters either. And just for good measure you got to play as three different nationalities.

MOHAA had the music and presentation, but I'll give you squads and intensity.

I enjoyed MOHAA more though.

:thumbs: So did I. In CoD you don't even open doors man, shoot stuff most of it doesn't even break, maybe any stuff. Yes, it was more intense and had better squad use.

I didn't enjoy MoH too much, it was alright though. CoD was great though, the single player kept me coming for awhile, managed to clock it on every difficulty except easy (which I always skip) and veteran (got up to that russian guy's house... got impossibly hard about there). But where it really shines is the multiplayer, has all the elements that got me hooked on CS but it's just so much more fun for so many reasons. How's the multi looking for UO?
