IGN Hands on preview

good preview, sounds as good or better then what we saw in the demo. Not as much info on multiplayer as I had hoped but there's some mp screens

I don't think I'll be buying this one. It's exactly the same as the first one with slightly better graphics. Everyone sits by and says HEY! GET THOSE KRAUTS! So you personally take on 10 germans and get shot about 35 times (and you're just fine) and then they all just sit there until you run into the ONLY possible place to go... then they follow you. Repeat.

my advice:

watch Brothers in Arms start to finish
play on highest difficulty
use only rifle and pistol, no thompson, no gernades
use real tactics ..flanking etc
immerse yourself in the game/era ...you wont get much out of it if you cant suspend your disbelief

Call of Duty should do a game where your part of the German lines. Fed up of being the Allies.

Oh, anyway. Looks good. I loved Call of Duty 1, great game I thought. Doubt my PC will handle this, so I'll... I dunno. Haven't the money to upgrade or anything like that, so I'll wait till a freind gets it or something.

Its not that I wouldnt mind being a German, its the being a nazi that would make that idea seem a bit... :/ if you know what I mean.

This game looks awsome, I'm definitely buying this the day it comes out.

I can see what you mean, but its not like your going to go around to concentration camps and turn on taps by pressing the USE key, smashing shop windows while pushing people around and other SS related things. Just straight up German infanterie, fighting alongside the ranks, sitting on the back of Panzer Ausf. H's, defending small towns from American paratrooper attack, charching across the Bulgarian snow planes towards the dug-in Americans, etc. Maybe not a full game, then, but an expansion would be nice.

Done it, great game.

The day there is a Call of Duty German campaign, I will rejoice.
Anyway, yeah, I definately will be getting this
