Does anybody have it? If so, how is the multiplayer? Is it as good as its been hyped up to be?

The multi looks good, but I can't join any games at the moment. I'm not the only one with the problem, but a fix is in the works.

It's not a huge step over the past games, but it is a nice addition. It takes the already solid shooter component and gives it a battlefield style spin and some meatier maps.

Edit - Oh, 360 version here.

Identical on all counts.

Single player is okay but MP is pretty good.

Maps are better than CoD2, vehicles (Tanks, usually) aren't too hard to take down (Usually just 1 bazooka shot), the 'kits' (Classes) are pretty decent (Though I miss my Gweher :() and overall it's good.

I just played on this pretty open map which also had a small village in the middle and we had tanks going up one side, snipers on the edges and a bunch of assault guys fighting in the village and I think there was ~28 people (Edit: Max is 24, I wish when you hit Back it had a total # or I'm blind :() and no lag. ^_____^

So, like with CoD2, SP is okay (As in, worth finishing) and MP is a good, solid game.

Good, Maybe I'll go get it tomorrow and we can play together. BTW, how many people can be in a game at the same time?

Being the only COD I've ever played through, I think it's great. MP is great as well.

MP is amazing, it's got me totaly hooked. Vehicles are good, usualy two positions and you can move about by pressing A when your in them - i.e. from driver to machine gunner in the jeep. They control pretty well, you dont get any lagging / stuttering crap going on. Tanks are pretty good as well, you can either have it drive like the Worthog in Halo where it goes where you point, or you can change to "alternative" mode in the menu and it drives more like you would expect (forward on the left stick makes the bottom half move forwards etc)

Tanks are quite good because you can take them out with rockets, or if you have a grenade you can jump on top and put one in the hatch - so they aint to overpowered.

Because there's pertty much no lag - rifles and sniper rifles are pretty dam deadly - but the assault rifles are pretty accurate so its an even match.

Overall its well balanced - I dont mind what side I play on - and because the spawns rotate on team battle (infinite respawns allies vs germans - most kills in 20mins wins) you dont get the advantage of location that you sometimes get in other games.

Personally, I think Allies is slightly better off or at least in the kits I play.

Rifleman; in DoD I freaking love the bolt-action rifle but in CoD3 I prefer the Garand because I just can't do the same insane, flick shooting like on PC (Though I can still aim damn fast with a controller).
Light Assault; I just prefer the Thompson to the MP40 (I think that's the name..)
Scout: I also just happen to prefer the gun (Springfield ?) better than the others (Scoped Kar).

But it is pretty much balanced and fair. :)

I was in a Team Battle, max players, good host and as Allies we were ~60 kills ahead (It was first to 100). They'd spawn somewhere for a few minutes and we'd be all over it as soon as we found where it was though it got boring so I switched to Axis and I was playing with 2 friends so I got them to swap over too and I got them and a couple of random people to follow me and we kind of broke through on a far right flank and than kept on running and we than got into the buildings in the middle and 3 of us were sniping and we were going so freaking awesome and than the other fellows went all the way around the little village thing and they were anti-armour and assault kits and they took out the tanks which were just spamming our spawn point and killed heaps of others.

Anyway, that gave the guys at spawn a chance to push forward and we closed the score gap to them only being about ~20 kills ahead. It was pretty awesome. ^______^

This was on the Possidoen whatever map.

I can't wait to get this so I can play online. I love BF2:MC, and this looks very similar so yay. :D

I just played a few rounds online and I have to say, it was pretty fun.

Not a fan, i used to play COD and COD 2 all the time, but this one just isnt good. If you want my opinion, id say dont get it, get gears if u havent gotten it yet

Or both, like me ^_^

Although I mostly got CoD3 to tide me over while waiting for Gears...

I think it looks class, I have cod1 (even though the online community has now perished), still playing cod2 which rocks, I loved CoD: UO which CoD3 basically looks like so i shall be getting it with my 360 this xmas along with gears of war.

I would have gotten this, if it was for the damned PC! :sniper:

Me don't have console! D:
