So I just got CFS3 off a mate, he couldn't run it, anyway I made the mistake of thinking it was a GAME. In the title the key word is 'simulator'. MY GOD is this some hard sheet!! Had to read 3-4 pages to figure out how to take off and i still veer right and crash even if i do get off... I mean WTF? Anyway I won't make this a pointless rant, I'm just wondering if there's any sites out there that could sum up the flight process for me, or any experts out there that can testify this "game" is actually, at some stage, fun :|

Don't pull up too fast.
Just hit the throttle gently up, when you get to enough speed to pull up, just take it very slowly up.

Make sure you don't have the air brakes on or anything.

Try playing falcon 4.0 :D
That game has a wholeeeeeee trapper keeper full of material to go through.

Its a simulator, not a game. Only for flight enthusiasts like myself.
I enjoy playing Flight Simulator 2002, I’ve been practicing my Cessna landings lately.

I love CFS3, but I haven't played it since my joystick broke :(

Ah I just realised I been usin my keyboard, must borrow my friends joy. The only flight sims I've ever enjoyed were the Joint Strike Fighter demo and Commache 4.0, which is very arcade. And BF1942 but that's piss easy :p Anyways thanks for your help guys, has anyone tried the Lock On demo? It looks nice :)

I also recommend IL-2 Sturmovik.
It's prolly the best WWII era'ish flight sim out there, both are good games though.
