how did oyu get the striders ABOVE ground?

EDIT : the pics are awesome...
 
hhahaha

and now you need to take that buggy and drive it through them all :p
 
to spawn strider above ground, use noclip to hover in the air...

then type

give npc_strider in console


it doesn't move and fire at anything even combine.


i disable the ai in those shots so they stay still.

give npc_strider instead of npc_create npc_strider

On a side note, you should set one of the combine in the middle as a target for the striders cannons :naughty:
 
no lag unless i fire, but i set host_timescale to .1 so everything ran smoothly in super slow motion.

it was fun.


didn't think of running them over with the buggy but i wish i had a nuke to drop right in the middle of them. hehe
 
very nice, was wondering, why does everyone seem to use the cost levels for their spawning antics?
 
Thats awsome, now if you could program lots to be your ally and to give them commands, hold posistion, advance, follow you, then make a ton of them enemys and you have some good battles.
 
Great job :)

Now the next thing for someone to do is to spawn a load of rebels and combine and have them battle each other :p
