Combine Destiny - please read.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I have a small problem with a cool mod called Combine Destiny.:flame:
Anyway, theres this bit where it keeps crashing. SPOILERS






I get to the bit where you first encounter the Vortigaunts. Anyway, whenever I attack it or it attacks me the game severly lags, followed by crashing hte whole PC.

Can anyone help me? Did anyone else have the same problem?

All I remember from Combine Destiny was that it was really shitty.

So it crashes when you attack it or vice versa? If so, just open up the console and type in "notarget" (makes you invisible to NPC's) and walk past it, once you're out of reach from it type "notarget" in the console again. See if that works.

I can't remember where you first battle the Vortigaunt in the mod, I can only remember the bland level design.

If i remeber right, that scene is when some manhacks are fighting some rebels and that vort. What you need to do is when the rebels and vort are distracted by the hacks, go through that door and double barrel shotty that vort before he looks at you. You have to be quick, I mean really quick or it will crash. If you have grenades, which i dont think you do, use them. The crash itself seems to be caused by the vort looking in your direction

I've heard that they're even making a Combine Destiny 2. :| They either got their brains from a bargain bin, or they're freaking delusional and think that they're all Cargo Cults.

Admittedly though it looks better by quite a margin compared to the first, actually it looks pretty good. I'm not getting my hopes up too much though but it can't be worse than CD1 if they've actually listened to all the criticism they got during the release.

That's pretty harsh. All developers improve over time, and the more SP content the merrier.
