Alright, I'm really jonesing for good straight up comedies and I know that there's an endless amount of them but 90% of them are hour and a half long fart and dick jokes with no actual humorous situations.

Chances are that I haven't seen most of the good ones so go ahead and list em.

I only made this thread because I just watched Role Models and Super Troopers and thought they were hilarious while not a total insult to my intelligence.

Oh, yeah.
Never got around to seeing any of the other Monty Python films aside from Meaning of Life and Holy Grail.

Probably because neither of them were very funny and because Holy Grail had been quoted to death by the time I finally saw it.

Meaning of Life was just a confusing mess.

Is Life of Brian very much like either?

It has a more consistent plot and clearer narrative, but if you didn't find Holy Grail funny I doubt you will like Life of Brian.

I like the Pegg/Frost films Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz, though I expect you've already seen at least one of them.

I also enjoyed Zombieland, though it does drag in the middle.

500 days of summer

HAMLET 2

The Mask

Ace Ventura + When Nature Calls

Dumb and Dumber

Idiocracy

etc etc, I'll post more when I think of others.

Clerks and Clerks 2.

Some of my hardest laughs ever come from Clerks 2. ''...ya Nazi douchebad''.

It has Jay and Silent Bob in it, but theyre not completely integrated into the film, they come in now and again. Though thats assuming you dont like Jay and Silent Bob.

A debate of Star Wars vs Lord Of The Rings is pretty damn funny, but the Porchmonkey scene had me in tears.

Saw most of these already but there's a few I've been meaning to see but forgot about.

Awesome, filled up my Netflix queue for the next week or two nicely.
