Comm. Lockdown?

It seems to me like Gabe, for shits and giggles, might have initiated a communications lockdown with the rest of the world for the next couple of days. I mean we've seen the post count on the official info thread rise steadily until about three days ago, when it stopped dead at 308. And I'm sure people haven't stopped sending e-mails. So the hype machine rolls.

I say we flood his mailbox :p

Stupid ass, he just replied to one of my mails

@Frank: and what did you ask him? His favourite color and if he likes fluffy clouds? :)

yes

It'll be old material from the E3 that you're going to show, won't it?

I wish he would reply to mine. ;( The questions aren't that complex, and have nothing to do with the release date.

Just ask something that hasn't been asked before and/or something that he can reply "yes" or "no" to

He's probably pretty busy, can imagine there's plenty to do over at Valve right about now. Can only answer so many e-mails a day.

I did... I asked him:

1) Would we be able to construct any of the actual map data in XSI
2) Would the example of an entire house made out of wood actually be feasible for playable gameplay?
3) Will we have the ability to perform screen wipes between two different camera views?
4) Will we have control over distortion and effects of music tracks or sound channels?

It's a design descision not a technical limitation.

I don't get it... I send him my first email 1.5 month ago and he did replied the same day... the period between 1.5 month ago and now I had even better questions to ask but I don't get replies from him :'(

Frank you might want to post that email in the info from valve sticky thread as it's a pretty nice piece of info, considering a lot of people have been wondering what will be shown at the Tokyo show.
