Ahem. Whenever I post this comment in a communist thread, it's ignored.

So here I go again:

Communism cannot work, ever, and it's not just down to human nature. Have any of you actually read Karl Marx? I doubt it.

Read the book, and you'll see that the idea of communism is based on a 19th century view of the world, where labour was the main source of income. Workers, as they were bringing in most of the country, should have the power [basic idea]. However, this is not the case anymore. Imagination is the main source of income. Not labour.

in what sense is imagination the main source of income? are we imagining money or something(well, actually we are, but thats for another thread)?

Badger, could you explain what you mean by immagination. The way I see it, the majority of people still fit into the category of a labour force. Perhaps, not the more tradtional phyisical labour, but its all the jobs that don't need an immagination. Many office jobs simply require you to input numbers.

I mean that imagination generates more money for a country than hard labour. Things like product designs, new computer programs.. thats where the money is today, and you can't deny that.

Right ok then...I get you now. I thought you meant just the normal jobs people undertook, rather than the overall picture.
