UPDATE: Sunday has come, so that means a new contest! Week 4 of the photoshop contest is here!
For those of you who wouldn't consider yourselves forum regulars, but have a keen interest in the manipulation and creation of "art", as we loosely call it, you might be interested to know that week three of our HalfLife2.Net community art competition is coming to a close as votes are tallied.
This weeks competition asked users to take a piece of HL2 related static media and create a cell shaded product based on the original. Some of the better submissions by Tim8604, Stone, and Chu4 are really quite impressive and are definately worth having a look at regardless of whether you choose to involve yourself in the vote. If you care to take a look at the entries submitted in the two previous competitons, here are week one's submissions and week two's submissions.
Outside of these recent competitions there is still a lot of amazingly interesting work being posted by a many very talented individuals, some is just a taste of what is in store:
