:( Title says it all.

It was fine yesterday, but now its just horrible.....

umm, well no power at all? could be your psu..also specs would be appreciated

is your power out lol no im jk someone accutlly returned there computer because it wouldnt turn on while the power was out

the LED on the mb is on, but it just won't turn on.

Um, 300W PSU, ASUS mb, um, its not here with me right now so i'll have to get back to you on that one.

another one to look at, does it tunrn on for like a flash and then shutoff, if so dodgy compnent causing mobo to see dodgy power flow and not turn on, take all non essentail compnoents out and jsut try and get it to post:) that way u single it all out

also coudl be a fried cpu

get old pc parts that u dont mind damaging swap them in and out and single out faulty ahrdware that way

check that power plugged in

unplug your usb, if u have anything plugged in cos usb can short the shiz out of your mobo, just thought ppl would like to know that is possible it IS

i always leave nething usb constantly plugged in, less chance of the connecter getting damdge and 5 v being sent the wrong way:)

EDITEDITEDIT:

STOP DOUBLE POSTING TOO, JUST EDIT YOUR POSTS

Alright, check to make sure the power is plugged into a socket that works. Next check to make sure the switch on the PSU is on.

After that, if it doesn't turn on unplug all of the cords except the mobo power(should be 2 of them, theres a 4 pin to the left of the CPU...this may be optional but best to have t in) and leave the power switch plugged in. Also un plug everything from the back of the comp)keyboard, mouse) and make sure only the power and monitor is plugged in. Also, reseet everything by taking it out and putting it back in, leaving all of the cords unplugged.

If that still doesn't work, grab a paper clip we are going to make sure it's not the power switch itself that doesn't work. Find the power switch on the mobo and unplug it, remember the pins it was on and take the paper clip and have it touch both pins at the same time in order to complete the circuit.

Next, un plug everything hardware wise, vid card, RAM, cpu. and make sure all the ribbon cables and anything else is un plugged.

If still nothing, take out your PSU and try it on another mobo, and take out that comps PSU and try it on your current "bad" mobo. This way you cant test your PSU and mobo to see if either are damaged. If they both work, try them together again.
