Completed - Now What

Ok, so I completed this great game.

Now what? Great games are only great, or remain great, if you can play them over and over again.

Anyone recommend anything. Apart from doing it all again on Hard.

Any decent Mods out yet?

Multtiplayer is not an option at the moment, because of my univeristy firewall.

Yes play a rubbish game then go back to half life, if that does not work buy a comic.

Thought someone would say Mods would be a while. Wishful thinking really.

Hopefully someone with a Brain has completed it like me and is working on a Mod alreay.

Playing another game then coming back to HL2 is a good idea. Time to break open Pacman I guess.

I beat it.

Now i am doing HL:S Hard then going HL2 Hard =D

You people should play the game slowly, savour it, or even have finsihed it - play it some time later.

That's the problem with gamers nowadays, it takes years to make a game - and people finish it within a day or two and sit down looking blankly.

Happened with MGS3, hl2, ninja gaiden, Riddick, e.t.c.

why not play with the SDK and learn a few things and create a mod?
that oughtta eat up some time.

Here I am, 4 days later, and I'm just starting Ravenholm.... I have lotsa fun times ahead.

Here I am, 4 days later, and I'm just starting Ravenholm.... I have lotsa fun times ahead.

Right now its not even possible to make a map for HL 2 the sdk is NOT fully released, once the SDK will be fully released then u can make for HL2. Yes u can make the maps but you cant compile them into HL2 because there is one file missing called FCG or sumthing like that which will be included in the next update thats what were basically waiting for now. I am trying to learn how to map lol.

Yea, savour the moment, you say go through again on hard? The game hasnt left hard since I got it, that combined with loads of uni wrk + gettin the blue screen of death if too much is happening when it tries to autosave means im only at ravenholm. Great game, why rush it?

yea mods will be a while, but I think its safe to say they will arrrive, lol.

I just wish there were some way to get hold of hl:s when you own the retail hl2 without having to buy it over again :s
