Well my since my computer has a clear window on one side i can see the fan. But its never moving when im playing a game. Does it just kick in when it gets to hot or do you have to activate it somehow?

..i dont want my system to overheat or anything.

Which fan are we talking here? Is it on the chassie, your video card, or your CPU? I doubt it's your CPU cuz it would be fried by now.

Are you sure it isn't moving but it looks like it's still?

Edit: Also, does it ever move or is it always still (Even when you turn the computer on/off, etc)?

neither are them are moving right now while im not playing a game.

But i dont know if this matters but on the inside of the computer at the bottom theres a green number display thingy (numbers look like a digital clock) and it reads "4.8.". Ive seen it change when booting up.

I can't tell you anything about your clock or PC. That's like you telling me how I look.

You should get a PC monitor though (www.google.com and search for one). I don't have one myself I don't need it, but if you get one of those you can see your temptratures, and fan speed/usage, power usage, CPU usage (Which you can see in % in XP but whatever), and some other useful stuff not to mention RAM monitoring.

If all temptratures are below 50, then you're good. I believe Abit exaggerates the temp, but I'm not sure. Anyway, you can look at it after you've played your game/s, and see how your PC ran during it.

Seeing as how your comp is working right now, I wouldn't worry. If it was indeed overheating it would auto-reboot. You'd also experience miscalculations if it was "too hot".

Seeing as you have an AMD processor and the fans seem to be not moving when the computer is idle it could be the motherboards Cool n Quiet system kicking in.

if ur fans arent on they

have broken and u need new ones

have no power, check the cables

without fans ur compw ill burn up

If he didn't have working fans, his comp would already be broken, fool. When you're playing games your CPU is running at max all the time. This means that it gets to maximum capacity and would burn without a fan on it (Quickly too, you probably wouldn't get to play).

His fans also appear to be connected seeing as how he's said that they spin when he's not playing a game or w/e. They can't spin without power unless you put a vaccumcleaner against them or something (Yes, dusting your comp with a vaccum, it works).

When fans *BREAK*, they give a squirk, which they probably have been sending in lower kind for quite some time, and then shut and you will not hear it anymore.

All that taken in to account, I render that you suck. You shouldn't be posting if that's what you've got. Sorry.

(Maybe you don't speak intellectual either?)
