Just got the October issue of CGW.
I'm currently reading this and will post all new info I find (their cover story is everything about VALVe.... Aftermath, lost coast, DoD:S, etc etc... even Sin Episodes )
I'll keep posting though as I read more!
But it says that the Lost Coast should be available by the time you read it (which would probably mean like less than 2 weeks until we get it!), and they also said the same about Day of Defeat: Source with Aftermath to follow soon thereafter!
Okay I'll keep reading...
*Edit* Lost Coast features a director mode. Basically there will be little cues around that you can walk up to, click, and then one of the VALVe guys will talk about development of the level and such, and give comments. But however, it will give a few spoilers as to what's coming up in the level, so it's best to play with director's mode off the first time through, unless you would rather have a few things ruined a head of time.
*Edit2* Lost Coast isn't just a tech demo... It shows you how headcrabs took over Raven Holm!!!!
Oh, and in Aftermath there is new AI for working with allies and collaborative action.
*Edit3* When asked if Hydra's will return, Marc Laidlaw smiles and says
*Edit4* They are planning on a new episode for Half-Life 2 every 3 months, and then a seasonal box set for retail.
Oh, and they are also rearchitecturing Steam, and we are actually running two versions of it now. Steam 2 and Steam 3, alongside each other... Though we don't even know it.
Gabe feels the need to fight World of Warcraft, with the gamers helping to make the experience better. He thinks that Microsoft's new OS Vista won't solve problems, and X360 is a pain because they told them "You can't rely on the hard drive" (it's an optional feature).

Mossman came from Half-Life -- she was a character we couldn't pull off until Half-Life 2. So I'd say that none of our ideas, if we're attached to them, ever necessarily go away.
