computer problem

hi, im getting a new computer soon but i would like to get this problem fixed on this one first. Sometimes when i turn on my computer and i click on my name for windows it works , but sometimesi go in and the startbars gone (explorer.exe isnt running.) does anyone know what the problem is and how i can fix this?!

And also do i have to buy a new windows xp for my new computer or can i jsut use the same one im using now?!

heh - add explorer.exe to your boot in msconfig?

And you technically should get a new copy of xp for a new comp... although lalalala look! a tree!

almost a problem i have...when i boot up my comp it says "error - trouble booting Main"
or something like that

meh. reinstall windows.

Try to get a copy explorer.exe from someone else, the file is maybe corrupted. Do you any problems running in Safe Mode?
