It doesnt matter if you ban weapons, criminals will still get them, and as for banning full autos, that doesnt matter either. Do you think criminals will care if there weapons are illegal? By modifieing one or two pieces on my ruger 10/22 i can make it fully automatic, then i could saw the stock off and put a folding stock on, and buy a few 50 round mags from dunhams, and did i mention how EASY it is to silence .22s?

The average citizen has no need for a ****ing SAW, get my drift? This isn't about getting weapons out of the hands of criminals (although you'd be surprised how many weapons are obtained through theft). It's about people having the brains and responsibility to handle and properly use a weapon, let alone any necessity for one.

Of course criminals will still get weapons. They live outside of the law, duh.
